My heater cable broke! Has any one repaired this before? I removed the center console and the connection is broke at the wire that pulls the heat damper open/close. Can I refeed wires from the console? Any help would be appreciated!

It's pretty simple. You'll have to disconnect the other end of the wire at the heater flapper box, and then pull it out at the console.
Then just slide in a new greased up cable, and reconnect it at both ends.

Before you put in new wires you should find out what caused it to break. Is something sieze up?

What year is your car? A temp fix is to remove the spring from the flapper and open/close manually until the cable is fixed.

Thanks guys! Sorry for the slow response. Just got home from my first PCA race,(as a volunteer)
WOW what a great time. Got to get so more DE in! I-class looks like where I going one day. Just got to convince my better half. I did do the temp heat deal but the plastic sleeve was melted to the cable and had to leave the heat on for the 1hr drive and of course it got up to the seventies today and now I'm too HOT. I think the sleeve has a nut on the other end so it is replaceable?!? Again thanks!
