Victorymotorcars
I received yet another email today and I wanted to provide you with a real example of the negative feedback we continue to fight-- people who have not purchased nor ever done business with us yet blog as though they have:
From: Steve Smith To: "victorymotorcars@yahoo.com" Sent: Tuesday, October 11, 2011 3:38 PM Subject: Dave Maxwell Hi Robert I spoke with you a year ago about Dave Maxwell slandering me on the internet to run me out of business. You told me you would contact him and find out whats going on,because you are in business with him i have no choice but to destroy your business via internet,i have ten people including myself that are registered on every Porsche website available to tell our stories about the piece of **** Porsche we bought at Victorymotors and the other terrible BS about the purchase.I know you have nothing to do with this issue but because Dave Maxwell is to much of a PUSSY!!!!to deal with this matter face to face and chooses to hide behind his computer like a little girl,i have no choice but to badmouth people that do business with him, when he quits his BS i will stop posting on Porsche sites. |

Negative/Neutral Feedback received by victorymotorcars
Google doesn't paint a pretty picture either. If you want to work on your image, posting stuff like this on a forum isn't the way to do it. Improving customer service, respond to after-sales issues, better representation of vehicles, etc. will. |

Based solely on posts here, I always thought Victory was the Motor Meister of dealerships.

No offense to anyone but they sell USED CARS; buyer be ware. I know, some have integrity and all that, but he's selling old used cars. I've been there and they have some nice stuff and some questionable stuff. I'm no expert but even I can tell the difference.
If you're going to spend a bunch of cash on an old used car you either need to know exactly what your doing or take someone with you who does. I've talked with Steve at length about my SC and he was very helpful. Just my experience, nothing more.

From the buyers' perspective, perhaps it should be renamed Pyrrhic Victory Motorcars...

I'll admit it - I bought my first Porsche from Robert. An 89 C4.
My bad for no PPI. Something broke every month. I swear, it was with a mechanic more than it was with me. The final straw was when the transmission output shaft failed (on the driveshaft for the 4wd system). I sold it to the mechanic that fixed it. The car was beautiful, but a lemon. Which seems like the theme when people buy here. My second Porsche - I was more educated and bought from the widow of the original owner. This one is waaaaay better, but not as shiny.

The used car business is tough, but I think that full disclosure would help alot. At least buyers can't complain. Still upping the price and not disclosing issues seems easier.

Wow, four posts from the OP, all the same content, 5 years apart. At least he's consistent.

I've had the displeasure of working on two cars from Victory. Both cost the owners more than they should have paid, were very shiny, and mechanically rotten. Shame on the owners for buying via the internet without a proper PPI, and shame on Victory for selling highly polished turds to unsuspecting monkeys..
