If so, where can I buy a new rectifier bridge?
aside: I did find that I can buy (min)200 of them for ~$8/per. I think one will do. Background: The Alt Light stopped coming on with the ignition switch (pre start-up). I traced the blue wire back to the Alternator post - grounding that, the light came back. I surmise that a diode died, or an internal trace broke w/in the rectifier bridge. Anyone BTDT ?

Well I found a replacement Rectifier, but it wasn't easy to find.
Weird that so many alternators get retired, or sent to a rebuilder, simply because the replacement rectifier needs 3 wires to be soldered. (shrug)

Hi
|
I rebuild my own Alt when necessary. I go the my local hole in the wall Alt shop and ask them to order my specific Alt parts. so try ordering from a local shop.
