New exhaust needed

Share your thoughts ladies and gents, I'm in the market for a new exhaust for my 88 911. I currently have a Bursch 2out glasspack exhaust that has been on the car for the last 17 years, way past its shelf-life. The mounting brackets have rusted off and the rest of it is not in much better shape (its held onto the car by 2 metal muffler straps it seems.

1) Get a new Bursch (sounds good now and it is priced below $400
2) Go M&K (I heard a 2 out on an 82 3.0 and it sounded heavenly. I have not heard it on a 3.2 yet)
3) Go Dansk, I like the stainless steel look but I've only heard YouTube videos. Most sound good. About $100 more than M&K.

I just purchased (M & K) pre muffler & sport muffler (1 IN- 2 OUT). Both showed the day I leave on trip, can't wait for weekend to install both.
Good luck!

If you like the Bursch, stay with it!! Quality is good.. Price is right.. Exhaust questions are very subjective, at best!!

Dansk sport mufflers are heavy (oem weight), but perform well on the dyno i am told. m+k are light, but loud... And beautiful.

I am running the M&K GT3 Style and M&K pre muffler. Fantastic quality and sound, plus light weight. Customer service is excellent too! and he's a Pelican member!

I just switched my M&K 2 in 2 out GT3 exhaust to the Dansk stainless steel 1 in 1 out exhaust. M&K was definitely louder as it had the cat removed as well....a little droney for me. The Dansk is much quieter but still has a nice sound. Both are excellent quality though.

I used a Dansk, 2-in 1-out and it's pretty tame and quiet. I'd opt for a little more growl but it appears the choices are pretty much tame & wild thing.
