Anyone have a picture of a 79 fuse block

I have the 84-up Bentley here but nothing for a 79.

Someone really dug deep into my 79's wiring trying to "fix' a no start issue. I have found the original cause (hidden kill switch) but now need to undo all the other problems.

There is all sorts of bad things done to this poor fuse block and I would really appreciate a picture of an unmolseted one to make sure the wires go back in the right spot.

Thanks in advance

Brendon

I am actually looking for a physical picture of the box installed in the car with wire colors going in and out of each fuse location from a US 79 SC so I can try to get this car back together and running correct.

Someone did some real good messing around with the wiring in an attempt to get the car running because they didn't know where the PO hid a failed kill switch...

How can you trust someone's picture? I thought my 90k mile car was relatively unmolested but I'm finding a few inconsistencies in my fuse panel. Some has been in there for some reason.

True but it will get me in the ball park for a few things, then i can sort the rest out.

Beats the guess work while I wait for my mid year Bentley to get here. Mainly on the hot side of the fuses.

Might not be a big help but this is from my 79 ROW. I added a 3 fuse block to the far left to fuse the dimmer/directional stalk control for the high/low beams and 2 relay sockets to the far right for the high/low beams (relay for low beam was not in place thus empty socket). The rest appeared original before my additions.

Not sure if any will apply to your USA 79 but maybe get you started.

My 79 had some modifications by a previous owner. I took extensive notes, took the fuse box apart, and built a new setup with modern ATO fuses. I can link you my notes - maybe it will help.

Good luck!

The original panel in my '81 SC before I replaced it with a Fred Cook panel. Not sure the pic helps as its not totally original but close. Number 21 on the far left is missing (power windows) while 19 and 20 are A/C. Good luck!

Just download the '78 schematic from Pelican. It is the same.

I've seen your work and the other ATO swaps. Nice work and thanks for reaching out but I am trying to not make this a project car. I already have my EFI 930 with a custom harness in it.

I want to get this back to as original as possible for resale.
