As compared to the amazing levels of intelligence and concision one sees on a daily basis in the "civilian" community I suppose. This lambasting of the military is getting really, really boring. Don Newton US Navy (Retired) Architect |

If "inexpensive" is the rule, you'd go with a V-8.

In the South that would get you only one shrimp. If you're hungry, you'll need to make that Jumbo Shrimps.

Sorry Don...
You're right about that... At least the Military provides some education these days which is more than your average civilian seems to have...

There is such a thing as a inexpensive race car. Its called a "go kart!"
I raced SCCA for years and tore up $100 dollar bills at least every hour at race weekends. Got tired of it and bought a kart. Had more fun and on a affordable budget! Get a Kart and have fun! Joe

This one's probably a better starting point.
Since it's a 68' 912 it'll be lighter and it already has most of the wide body fiberglass. Get yourself a rollcage, fiber doors and roof,etc,etc.etc..... Bobby |

Perhaps I am just too sensitive...but I find the continual lambasting (as opposed to lamb basting which I am in favor of) of the institution (okay poor choice of words) of marriage to be boring.
