31mm Charlie Bar - Do I Need This Part?

Hi,

Hoping for some help. I have these very big rear sway bars (31mm), that are missing the "donuts". If I need these parts, where could I get a pair of them? Thanks for nay help.

I have not called ER yet, but I do see them on EBay. They are called shaft collars. I am not sure of the quality of them.

They are very lightly loaded so a cheap alternative like McMaster-Carr is fine. All they do is keep the bar from shifting sideways. You want 2 piece shaft collars made from aluminum. 31mm is an odd size so 1-1/4" will probably do (30 thou difference). Depending on the clearances you might need to shave the flat with a file or use some thin sheet metal to shim it.

Thanks for the replies. I have just ordered two aluminum clamp style split shaft collars. Hopefully they will fit, as I ordered 1.25 inch in size.

I am guessing that these sway bars are from Smart Racing, as the outside diameter is the same for front and back - I am not certain?

Thanks again.
