3.0 Turbo gearbox
Hello guys,
I have bought this gearbox about 5 years ago. PO says it has new syncros and dog teeths land have done very few km since then. I have tear it down today and I would like you opinions on their condition please ? Thank you, Jim

You really can't tell much without a complete tear down. Looks like it sat dry for a while, due to the rust. Syncros should not have any polished areas on their surfaces. Can't tell if the shift sleeves are worn when you can't see the inner surfaces that rub on the syncros. Can't measure the installed outside diameter of the syncros to see if the dog teeth are worn internally.

What John Walker said. It needs to be torn down, and once you do if probably replace the synchros just on principal.
