Rob, Dave and Joe Bob,

Thank you. I've ordered new bulbs and will use your advice later this week. I appreciate it.

Richard

To close out my journey - I drove home last night in the dark for the first time since I installed the new light assemblies, new bulbs (std wattage) and Jwest relay kit. The improvement was fantastic! I can see again in the dark. Driving was so much better, although it was dry. The real test will be in the wet. The old light lens were pitted from being blasted for many years but still it was great being able to see well again. New lights have protection film to preserve the factory finish. Anyway, that's my lemonade out of lemons.. Thanks again for all the posts and feedback :)

Some of the Porsche factory cars at Rennsport offered two solutions for the H4's. Not my choice. Seems like the units are known to fall off. Very many of the 934's had H4's installed.
