Post Removing starter questions...

HOW?! how do i do it on my 912e? does the engine need to drop? i can get to one of the two bolts...it appears to be a hex bolt....its the one closets to to bottom of the car...what about that top one? i dont see how i can GUESS what it is...it looks difficult enough to even reach with an extension but my haynes manual does tell me the size? whats the procedure on this, i hope i dont have to pull the motor/tranny!

pull the airbox and the ribbed boot out of the way to see the top starter nut. remove it. the rest is done underneath. disconnect the battery first.
