I'm glad to help, There is more that affect metallics. The spray gun, the angle held, the temperature when sprayed, the air pressure.
This is why i don't do metallics anymore for myself and try an talk others out of using them if possible. They are hard to match or blend when something bad happens.
A little fender bender can turn into a huge headache. It's happened to me.
Just a side note regarding the title of the thread, being an SC does mean something in terms of cost to paint correctly. It's easier to properly prep and spray a 964-993 bumper cover.
The aluminum bumper assemblies take some time to take fully apart, prep the failing paint (always), re paint and reassemble. If tossing them and fitting FG bumper spoilers, it should cost less money to paint the same SC if the FG parts fit properly:)
