What do you think

I decided to change the color of my calipers and disc drum on my 78 SC Targa. The P-car is a copper brown and I painted the calipers black a while ago.

I decided it was time for a change so, I decided to make them yellow. I think the color goes good with the brown. What do you think

Steve

Thanks for the input. Yes, I am planning on going to Hershey this coming year. It's a long drive, so maybe it would be best to split it up. Leave on Thrusday afternoon, arrive on Friday, leave on Sunday afternoon, return to Atlanta on Monday.

Looks good -- How did you go about painting them?

For now, I did a temporary paint with a brush - used Rustolium yellow just to see how it would turn out. I like the results but it takes too long to dry. I'm going to look for some high temp racing yellow to spray.

The pics doesn't show as much detail on the paint so it doesn't look bad from a distance. I want a nice gloss finish when I'm done.

Looks great! I'm planning on doing the same thing except with red. I like the yellow color with your car though. Nice job!

yellow with the black weels look good...just not sure about with the brown, a full car pic might help me decide.

I would think a nice silver with black "Porsche" script on the calipers would look good as well.

Just my .02
