"chain ramp pin" question
 
This is the backside of the pin. Looks like epoxy is chipped off. Will the pin come off if all the epoxy comes off.
Epoxy or JB weld.

I would clean out all the old sealing material, prep the area, and apply JB weld.

Thanks. Does that hold the pin. I just saw a post where someone found a pin in their oil pan

Do as what Steve suggested. That's what I did to the engines I have in the garage. Clean well and apply sufficient amount of JB Weld. The pins should be very tight on the chain housing. If you could feel slight movement from its mounting, that would be a problem.

Chain Ramp Pins
 
The pin is press fit into the case - the JB weld or other epoxy seals it so it doesn't leak oil.
