voltage regulator
i just stuffed some gel batteries in and i need to adjust the voltage down. 72 with a motorola alt/reg. base line ....14.6 at idle 14.7 tached up . i moved the lower points down ( towards the base of the reg. ) and had it 13.6 - 13.8 volts. this is where i need to be. after a ten mile trip, the voltage climbed. getting 14.3 at idle 14.5 spooled . am i headed the right direction? i don't want to smoke anything.

way above my head....
This is what it sounds like to me. check the hyphenator duphenator, connect the knuter valve and discombobulate the flux capacitor! Hope you get a much better and real answer soon. ![]()

the old bosch vw/914 regulators required you to bend the point tabs. i just wanted to know if anybody has been where im going. if you discombobulate the flux capacitor, you'll never get there
