targa partial-backdate opinions

I sorta love the way a targa looks with the stainless targa bar proudly displayed sans paint. My all black '83 is kinda begging for me to take the bar off and strip the paint from it whenever I look at it.
But what else needs to be done to pull off the look?
  • chrome side window trim
  • chrome front and rear windshield mouldings
  • chrome door handles
  • chrome headlight rings
Anything else? I'm probably going to eventually change out the flag mirrors with something smaller. I don't know if longhood and bumpers and all that are in the budget though.

Anyone got some pics of their targa backdates they'd like to share?

Mine is original configure, not back date, but I think this is what you're looking for. I love the stainless bar and bright trim. I do think the chrome trimmed functioning vent windows are as cool as it gets....l

That is exactly what I was thinking!
The mirrors won't easily swap over to my 83 will they?
That's just a gorgeous car there Ducman!

The mirror swap will require body work to fill the holes as well as paint.
