decoding of a trans number ..
is there a decoder like the one for chassis numbers?
what does it tell me? 915/61 12 7197633 |

The /12 shows it left the factory as a posi axel

915/61 1979 model year, use coarse spline flange with 100mm CV fastened with 8mm bolts
8:31 pinion & ring and gear teeth: 11:35, 18:33, 23:29, 26:26, 28:23 nice having an LSD in there as well.
