Rear Turn signal interior clear lens

Hi all,

First time poster, long time lurker. I've recently begun the process of replacing all of the weatherstripping on my 83 SC Cab. Today while taking apart my rear tail light, I noticed that the clear turn signal lens (behind the main lens, inside the housing) had a really shoddy repair to it by the previous owner and was barely hanging on.

I'm looking to replace it but cannot find any reseller for just this piece, it seems that the only solution is to buy an entire new housing.

Anyone run into this before or know where I might be able to find a replacement part?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, exactly. Except rather than being clipped in, it is attached by three pegs (which are broken and the cause of my issue). Here's a picture of the broken reflector in question.

You can see the black weatherstripping adhesive the previous owner used to try and keep it in place.

Thanks for your help!

Got mine from 20th Street Auto. They did not like breaking up the set but did it anyways. Need to call and ask.

It's just a refractor lens, you can use anything in there really. People here have even used an overhead florescent lighting refraction pannel piece cut out to fit.
