New Carrera Coupe owner in SoCal
 Hi all, so after a few months of searching I've just bought this Marine Blue 1987 Carrera Coupe from a seller through this very forum. The car has 213k miles with no record of a rebuild but has just passed CA smog and accelerates very well and sounds great so I'm planning on enjoying it for a while before having any major work done. The car's been very well maintained by its three SoCal owners and it shows- the paint is incredible for a car of this age. Great to finally find one before the prices go stratospheric and to be a part of the air cooled community. Look forward to seeing you all at the events! |

I intend to get fuched as quick as possible! On the look out for some 16x 7's and 8's. Good to hear they run forever pmax, I could use a year or two before engine rebuild. See you SoCal folk at the next meetup. Yes I love the color guys, I'd looked at loads of red cars but this blue is really beautiful. I'm going chrome/polished aluminum with the brightwork which should look great!

Nice ride and welcome to Pelican!
There will be a PCA breakfast meet at Glory Days Beachside Grill in Seal Beach tomorrow morning. Around 50 cars of every vintage typically show up to kick some tires, tell lies, and pick up free Porsche swag in the raffle. Come down, introduce yourself and ask around for some wheels. We had a good turnout at the PCA breakfast meet this morning. A member brought an unexpected surprise as well. A 2016 McLaren Le Mans. Cool!
