1988 oil sender wires replacement
Anybody know how to replace the oil sender wires that go to the right hand side oil tank?
Mines have lost all the covering off them. That can't be a good thing!!  I looked into the engine bay but they disappear into the wiring loom. |

The wires run from the rear tail light female 6 pin connector assembly behind the tail light, over to the level sender. (One signal wire, one ground wire) You could splice 2 new ones into the harness there, or replace the rear tail light harness.

Physically trace the wires before you do just to make sure. RHD car with rear fog lamp?
There is another tail light harness for that side with fog light and a different part number in the PET.

No fog lamp...M637 model Clubsport.
Doesn't even have passenger visor! I'll trace and remove wires so I get the right thing. Thanks. |
