What did your 911 do to you today ?

The opposite but similar question

Coworkers were going bonkers and demanded answers when I told them about the 911.

It's an old car, I said.

Mine made me smile. Gave a coworker a ride in my 84 at night, in the rain. He is very interested in an older Porsche, and he was quite impressed. Then i stopped at a local gas station to fill up. It was quiet and the young attendant asked me all about it. We had a good chat.

Hello, mine put a big frown on my face....I have been trying to get it to make a decent noise but all it will do is make an ALMIGHTY backfire [after a 18 year rest] Michael.

It made two random strangers wave at us during our spirited run to the hills.

Very interesting effect it has on people.

Put in a '81 vintage Momo Jackie Stewart steering wheel on a J. West eccentric adapter, but only after hand-filing the the Momo hub to make it fit correctly.

Just started mine let it warn up due to frigid temps today here in MD, freaking single to low teen digits! I have no garage to speak of, so its outside with a all weather cover, but man! Can't wait for Spring/Summer to come!

It cooed at me every time I walked past it as I worked on other cars. I told her I'd get her out before dinner for a nice sunset drive.

It "knee capped" me. I'm 6'4" and when jumping in today swung the right leg in a little high and hit the inside of the windshield post square on my knee. I hobbled for about a minute outside the car, cussed it and wondered how that happened.
