Rear View Mirror locaton? Help!!!!!!!
Help!!! My interior rear view mirror needs to be replaced. Can anyone tell me how far down the center of the mounting pad is on the glass??? My 83 911 needs your help!!

If I remeber right (from doing the same job on my last 911), the center point was 4.25" down from the rubber seal.

Four and a quarter sounds right, but I just lowered the sunshades and made sure the mirror was central.

Thanks guys. I have a mirror again. Of course in a SC I never need to look behind me....If I do I'll just see a Carrera!
