Great, will do. I just glanced at the engine seal, but it doesn't look simple to change. Mine is in terrible shape. Thirty Years old +. As far as the pictures, 100% agree. I took some of the hoses I disconnected to remove the oil cooler and replace the seal. Thanks!

Bigdog,

Engine Compartment Seal Install it. I just replaced mine and as you can see the link I started. You can buy the engine seal at PP and would recommend the Porsche seal but it is expensive. I used the method in which you push the seal in the lower channel.and use a dull object to work it into the top channel. After all the prep work, took around 2 hours. You also might want to powder coat the tin, $200, and replace the CV boots if they look wasted. Good luck.

Good job, the engine seal rubber is/was available from Pelican when I did mine.
As well as likely everything else you will be replacing.
Drop the car on some Jack stands to adjust the lift crossbar location so it won't interfere on re-installation. :)

Well, engine is back in. Went very smooth. As advised, I took it slowly and bought a second jack (little cheap one) to put it in. Could not have obtained the right angle for installation if it were'nt for the extra jack. Took me more time than it should have, but it's all done. Now, for the next problem I encountered upon installation, a new thread.
