Brake rotors
It has been a long 12 years since I have replaced my rotors. I currently have ATE slotted. The slots are gone and near wear limit.
I hear that Zimmerman are now China made. I'm OK with ATE but I see Sebro coming on strong. What are recent experiences with the usual maniacs? |

Otto Zimmermann Bremsscheiben GmbH -
have a look at the above link which is Zimmermann's website. We use Zimmermann Rotors from choice and have never had an issue. I believe they are better than ATE and Pagid Brands and Sebro are better than they were a few years ago. If you look on Alibaba in China you will, of course, find listings for Zimmermann Rotors but they will be cheap copies. Cavaet Emptor. I buy from Zimmermann's official importer in the UK and am very confident in the rotors delivered. |

Just make sure you get the factory coated ones, the ones without the protective coating tends to rust at the hub/lug stud area faster, does not affect performance, but I hate it when the rears rust up. My fronts are coated. Yes, I got them at different times.

Any curved vane replacement rotors???
I recently seen some drilled zinc coated rotors that have curved rows of holes that look sort of like like the brembo curved vane discs. I strongly suspect that the vanes are straight.
So, are there any curved vane replacement sinc washed slotted discs out there?? curious, chris |

Just stick with stock, unless you are going to the track.
