Best way to find Waynes 956, 959, 962, etc... posts

I don't get over onto the tech board like I did in the past. I love Wayne's threads on his cool new cars. Does anyone have a good search or index of Wayne's threads on his various cool acquisitions? I'd like to pull them up and read what I've missed.

Do an advanced search and look for posts started by Wayne, using his user name.

Hello Steve: There is a Pelican who created a custom search just for Pelican - Just do one search on this forum for words "custom search", and you should see his post. It works well.

Cheers

I recommend going in through the statistics bar and look at "all threads posted by X."

You can view all threads he has started HERE.

The 962-106b barn find will be showing up to our headquarters soon. Can keep up on it in the thread here.

Updated, but if it happens again. Find Wayne's profile and click the 3rd tab that reads "statistics." Then, click "Find all posts by Wayne at Pelican Parts." Voilà!

Thanks for that info. Downside is it only goes back 400 posts which is early 2015 for all of wayne's posts.

With advanced search against the 911 tech forum only, it reaches back to 2004. Still limited to 400 hits. Just a function of how many posts in individual forums.

Don't know if there is a way to expand the max hits.

Yep, I was hoping for a magic search that narrowed it down a bit more.

Very cool. That works pretty good. It only gave me 4 results per page and only 10 pages despite saying that it returned 66 listings. It worked pretty well, but I think the advanced search that's built in is going to give me better results.

Yep, that worked, and I made the search term 956 or 959 or 962.

Thanks everyone for the various tips.

Ha, Funny thread. I have this issue too. I just search by my username "Wayne at Pelican Parts". Google is pretty good too, I sometimes just search on "pelican 962 barn find" and it pops right up. Of course, there are three 962 barn find threads!

Barn Find Porsche 962-106b...

Another Barn-Find - Porsche 962-112

Yet Another Barn Find - 962-911 CAN-AM (Interserie)...
