Copper wheels? looking for opinions
I'd like to pull the trigger on some new wheels, I just can't decide what to do. What are your thoughts on Copper CCW's with silver door trim? Currently running 7&9x16" Fuchs, thinking of doing 9&11x17" CCW's (basically RSR offset, my car is a wide bodied middie, no 930 trailing arms)
Car as it sits today: ![]() Photoshop of some copper CCW's ![]() Black barrels copper faces ![]() and the inverse ![]() Another option ![]() Any styles that work better? I've also contemplated some Fikse wheels (of 17" Fikse ZF Fuchs replicas), but my preferred local shop is a CCW dealer, no hookup for Fikse wheels locally.

If anything I like the last pic. The first two are just too gaudy for me. Just my opinion

What color is your car, exactly? That picture makes it tough to tell.
I don't like the gloss copper one bit. With your color I think a nice satin gold center with anodized/polished (depending on your bling tolerance) would look amazing. CCWs are great wheels.

Too trendy for me. Its your car and you can put whatever wheels you want on there.

Copper centers, "black chrome" nickle plated barrels and copper hardware.
You're welcome

I had similar colored gold-ish BBS set and they looked great in real life.

I like the 1st pic the best.
If you must change, I would go with the last pic. ALL of the Copper/Gold wheels look very ghetto to me. |

I like your car with the Fuchs on it now. If you must change, with a black body, I'd rather GT3RS orange than copper.

I like some of the copper options but would definitely lightly bead blast any surface to be anodized so you get a satin copper finish vs. gloss. Would look a lot better IMHO.

im a fan of the satin finish wheels similar to the old group 4 campagnolos. know a company makes reproductions but think they only make em in 15's

I built some copper plated bbs rs for my vw rabbit. They are clear coated to prevent tarnish.

It's probably just an artifact of "Photoshop" (or whatever), but the wheels just look enormous to me... way too huge!
Beautiful car!! Rob
