Here are some 'ST' numbers
1970; 9110300001-3 and 91103 00949 - 50 these were 2.2 'Rallye' weighing in at 960kg 'S' 2.3ltr were 9110300001 - 03 with eng 911/20 (2247cm) and 049 was the infamous 'Tour de France car at 790 kg registration S-U 9370. I've also discovered that the 'Safari' S 2.2 registration S-AA 4827 later became the 74 Safari 2.7 RS car registered S-AR 7910. Confirmation anybody? PS, anybody wanting 'ST' front flares? Let me know as John Abbot Motorsport in South Africa have a mould under development. Cheers |
Wow, my 70 coupe is Serial # 9110300040, so I guess it may have "hung" with some of those bad boys for a while at least, back in the day...

Interesting thing... This is the exact table from the back of John Starkeys book. I met him once and forgot to have him sign the book. (At BRIC 2001)
I'm particularly interested in 911360 0020 R2 911/74-type 1031090 GP White. 2993cc. 315 bhp/8000rpm. "High butterfly" injection. Gearbox type 915. Built 11/72. Porsche museum. Any idea where I could write to find out more about this car? |
