first post...looking for a little advice
Hi Guys,
I just brought home the most wonderful '88 Targa. A Sonderwunsche car with pinstripe velour inserts amongst other special stuff. The interior is perfect and I want to preserve it (hot yoga and running are not good for upholstery). I would appreciate any advice on where to find nice fitting covers. Something good looking and durable that fits well and also some nice floor mats. I know this sounds like a petty post but I am really not familiar with newer Porsches (post 60's is new for me). Thanks, Charlotte |

Hi Charlotte. Congrats, sounds like you've got a beauty there! It's customary for new members to post a picture for us to oooooohh and aaaaaahhhh over.
![]() I'm not familiar with seat covers, but I'm sure others here will give you some good advice. Cheers, congrats and welcome!

Nice !
Sheepskin seat covers will keep you warm during the cold weather drives and keep you cool in hot. |

For floor mats many like these coco mats. They are very durable, stay in place and come in any color you want.
CocoMats.com Car Mats Not sure on the seat covers but I am sure someone will chime in. Great looking car! |

Welcome to the forum.
That is a beautiful car. Love the colour. I bet those sheepskin covers would be good protection from sweat for the upholstery.

BAM!
What a stunner! I love the pinstriped seats! This car is not for everybody, but will retain it's value and then some for those purists out there that love originality. You've got a winner there. Congratulations Charlotte. ![]()

Welcome Aboard Lady Charlotte!
![]() +1 surfer's or body glove type seats covers, I do not recommend sheep skins unless you like the smell of wet sheep. They are nice but not when wet. For the matts, might want to consider the rubberized ones they will hold up very nicely against dirt and sand, moisture for that matter. Enjoy your new old baby ![]()

Hi Charlotte!
Welcome to Pelican. That car looks awesome and what a great story. Can I take it for a test drive next time we are out in Albuquerque?
