Rule of thumb for tire clearance with wider rims?

I'm fitting 275/40-17 tires on 10" rims to the rear of my 1984 Turbo Look Carrera. Is there a Rule of Thumb about how much clearance I should start with between the tire and the hoses to the oil cooler? I can see (feel) what it is statically but don't know how much the tire moves under load. Car has been lowered a bit and has 2 degrees negative camber.

I have the same size tire on mine, 1986 Porsche Carrera Targa (Turbo Look), it has some big spacers, but I don't know the size of the spacers because the car is getting a new paint job. So far I don't have any problems with the tires rubbing the fenders. These are the sizes of my tires; Rear 275/40R17 Ventus HR II, Front 235/45R17.

275's are front tires, THESE are rear tires:

Kidding asside, if your tires come too close to the lines on the passenger's side (and I cannot imagine they will) you can move the lines up by flipping the hold-down clamp. On my car I also trimmed the lip off the fenders and buzzed the bolts off that stuck past the nuts on the alignment plate. You shouldn't have to do any of that if your wheels are spaced correctly in the wheel well. The spacers pushing them out flush with the fenders will get them several inches away from the oil lines.
