Yellow is usually the start circuit. That connector isn't factory so who knows?

Is this under the driver's seat or the passenger's seat? Is this the ROW 81 Porsche?

Set the picture back a little so we can gain reference.

Yes, driver's seat on the '81 ROW. Right near the (I believe) Bosch ECU.
