I own a Porsche 912E and i was wondering about how much horsepower i could gain from these two performance upgrades:
1) Bursche Ouiet Street Performance Muffler 2) K&N Air Filter (For a standard Air Box) As you probebly know already, a 912E has a 2.0 liter, flat 4. That only produces 86 horsepower, and 98 lb-ft of torque. Thanks Last edited by WhiteRaven530; 12-02-2002 at 12:46 PM.. |

Bursche - Not much, may allow it to run a bit cooler though.
K&N Air Filter - It's a joke, keeping the stock filter clean will do as much. Getting substantially more HP out of this engine involves serious investment, bigger P&C's, raise CR, re-cam, maybe stroked. You need to look at this site: http://www.912registry.org/ Jerry M '78 SC |

I forgot to mention, if your's is an "E", you'd probably need to go with carb's instead of the L-jetronic system also.
