1966 911/912 Washer Bag

I recently purchased a restored 66 912 Coupe and the last detail to finish the car is finding an original washer fluid bag. I understand there are no reproductions so finding an original in good condition may take some time. Has anyone found resources here or abroad that may be good to watch on a regular basis? I have not even found a good photo of what I am searching for. Sierra Madre Collection sells one for a 356 but nothing for the 911/912. Mine was built Oct/1965. I am assuming the same part was used for the early 911s and 912s.

What number 912 do you have? That late it's a bottle not a bag. Does your car have the hole in the fender?

Mine is 452795. The previous owner used a bottle in the meantime.

Here's what the correct one looks like, it's stuffed into that little cavity next to the hood hinge through the little round hole. Kind of a lame design, hence why a plastic jug down in the front bulkhead ahead of the spare tire quickly followed in 1967.

Here's the photo from the owner's manual in case you don't have one. The trunk carpet is missing in the photo, there is a hole in the trunk carpet that is finished with a plastic binding for access to the lid.

Jorge at SMC told me if I can find an original, non-usable bag, they can reproduce it. If someone has one and willing to part with it for cloning purposes, I will replace it with new/reproduction bag.
