AC Fan always fast, no slow speed. What to replace?

My AC fan on my 81 930 seems to range from fast to superfast, no slow setting. Do I need to replace the blower fan switch (911-613-243-00-M100) or is there some other resistor that controls how fast the fan turns at each setting?

The resistor pack has a burned out element. It's located under the passenger floor board.

get a variable fan speed kit from Griffith...800-451-7225...and set your desired speed.

As gomezoneill said, it's the resistor pack under the passenger floorboard....very easy job. This happened to me and the part is pretty easily replaceable. Many people have taken the air con system out of the car so there are alot of these parts floating around

I can't seem to find the part in our host catalog? If anyone has a used working one, let me know.

The ac evap motor resistor speed pack is located in the plastic trapezoid
air inlet plenum; under the RH side passenger foot board.

If the resistor circuit tests okay, the issue is the fan speed control switch; which you can test while inspecting the resistor pack
