AC Fan always fast, no slow speed. What to replace?
My AC fan on my 81 930 seems to range from fast to superfast, no slow setting. Do I need to replace the blower fan switch (911-613-243-00-M100) or is there some other resistor that controls how fast the fan turns at each setting?

The resistor pack has a burned out element. It's located under the passenger floor board.

As gomezoneill said, it's the resistor pack under the passenger floorboard....very easy job. This happened to me and the part is pretty easily replaceable. Many people have taken the air con system out of the car so there are alot of these parts floating around

The ac evap motor resistor speed pack is located in the plastic trapezoid
air inlet plenum; under the RH side passenger foot board. Inspection: My AC burns me up --- Summary of fix If the resistor circuit tests okay, the issue is the fan speed control switch; which you can test while inspecting the resistor pack Circuit: http://www.pelicanparts.com/911/911_parts/Electrical/911_electrical_82SC_AC.jpg
