Uship.com only use movers with real history. Gas Atl ??
Had a guy offer to move a 911 for 250.00 from ga to sc (about 150. Cheaper than anyone else) and all went well till I asked for insurance info. Has no history. If it sounds too good to be true....after I asked twice for info he moved to another guy (my friend) moving same car but mover didn't know it was the same car. Nothing like a free Porsche. Just giving guys a heads up and documenting for other internet searchs in the future.
His name is gas Atl FYI |

I will say this slowly, listen.
If cheap, is your only concern use any drunk you want. Move up a step to - Do they have DOT numbers? Check them on the net. Just type them in. Next step up - Require a cert. insurance for the value of the car .This will eliminate all fly by nighters. Have THEIR underwriter fax /mail it to you. The highest step - all the above Plus, - Air ride equipment and a current list of references. USHIP is the bottom of the barrel as anyone can get loads off the place and there is zero for legal action you can take . take care.

Yep. I know this from catering huge jobs. Museum, events centers alway got a writer naming them as payee incase of a claim. That's what we asked for. Driver disappeared.

If they so much as glanced sideways when you asked for a cert. to be faxed from the underwriter,... FIRE them now.

Where in Carolina? Sounds WAY too cheap to cover gas, insurance and DOT certs.
Do it yourself with a UHAUL car mover.

I used a guy based in ATL recently that I found on UShip and had the pleasure of meeting him. Very nice courteous and respectable young man. I would easily pass his number on to any friend. Let me know if you want it and Ill send it to you.

He may be a great guy, but does he have cargo insurance?
Its all EZ when it all goes well. The adage to live by is "you only make mistakes with what you work with". Even "if" he is a good guy, sooner or later in the transport business crap goes wrong. A lot of it is beyond the control of the driver. Now when crap happens, how good will he be when he is called to pay?
