Anyone running 16x9 fuchs up front?(930 flares)
Looking to go 16x10 rear and 16x9 front on my 911. 930 flare conversion 911 hubs.
Anyone running 16x9 up front? Would love to see how they fit. -Peet |
Gonna get a lot of road feedback in the steering wheel.

Thanks for the response John.
I'm running Etoile 16x10.5 rears and 16x8.5 fronts at the moment. I can't imagine much difference in handling if I went to 9's in the front compared to my current setup if that's what you mean by "road feedback" but I may be wrong. These are the only wheels I've ever run on the car so nothing to compare it to. I've also been considering an 8 in front with a 1" spacer. |
John's right. And heavier steering but worth it IMO. I moved my 9x16s up front and will be running 17x11 Braids in the rear. I previously had it set up with 17x11 Trudesign wheels but the b/s was wrong so when $ permits I'll buy the Braids.
I have a 930 so I'm not sure about the fit with 911 hubs. If the 9s wont work you could go with 8's and 10's Good luck |
Oh cool you're running a true staggered set up. I like that idea. I thought about 16's in rear and 15's up front but tire selection gets pretty bleh...and trying to eliminate the wheel gap up front would most likely prove to be a nightmare.
So is there more room under there with 930 or 911 hubs? Forgive my ignorance. |
930 rear spec 9x16 fit perfectly when moved to the front. You would need spacers on an early 930 or 911 as the hubs are different. Tires I use are 245/45-16.

Fine looking slantnose you have there. I just deleted the slant of my 76' last spring. I still do like the look of them though.
9's look great up front. Thanks for the visual reference. Now....to find some that don't break the bank...highly unlikely. Going rate seems to be 3k for two wheels...wow...really? Pair of euromiesters are looking pretty good right about now. |
Thank you. The 9x16 wheels pictured on the 930 above are Euromiesters, no need to spend stupid money when no one can tell the difference, and they were getting painted.

BAM! I like your style man!
