Porsche OEM mounts.......
Buy the Porsche OEM engine/transmission mounts. They are more than sufficient for your needs unless you want to go overboard and get those fancy aftermarket products.

Get the "sport" mounts as they will be a little stiffer than the stock versions. I had them on my SC.
The transmission and engine mounts are the same item, by the way.

+1 for the sport mounts. They are an inexpensive alternative to the aftermarket ones and provide extra stiffness over the original mounts used on coupes and targas. Using them further improved my shifting smoothness.

I got the German-made sport mounts from our host. I daily-drive on the so-so roads of Milwaukee, and they have been fine for me.

I went from tired, read broken, factory mounts in my SCab to Rebel Racing Blue's and now going back to factory new Cab/Sport mounts. No reason other than I have my SC down to a bare tub for complete suspension/gasket/preservation/rebuild.
I went with ER rubber for all suspension bushings and figured the engine/trans should follow suit. The Rebel mounts were stout and the engine/trans were well planted. Some NVH at certain RPM's. Sweet mounts. Cab/Sport mounts should be a bit softer than Wevo's or Rebel's softest. |

Wevos are the stiffest as they are solid (or are they semi-solid?). I looked into this a while back. As I recall, the order is (from least to most stiff):
- OEM coupe/targa - OEM sport - Rebel black - Rebel blue - Wevo

I just recently installed the wevo mounts for both engine and trans. The ride is a little bumpier, but not uncomfortable. It was lowered to euro height at the same time, so maybe that's part of the change as well.
