Very sad when something thats supposed to be fun turns into a tragedy. Some good can come from it if it causes others to pause and think about how theyre driving and consider the safety of others on the road. I know i will...

Just like running a pace line with other cyclists, I drive with people I know who exercise good judgement whose actions can be predicted. Safety and fun are not mutually exclusive when you 'control' the variables as best as possible.
Very sorry to read about the tragic loss on all accounts.

If it was closed track (road), sure I guess passing on double lines is OK. But if it was not closed track its a case of "the stupid prick."

How sad, I'm sure many of us have been put in similar situations.
I've been passed on a blind corner coming down Angeles Crest during a PCar event, that was plain reckless. Please drive safe - it is possible to have fun and not drive like an  sshole Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lost a friend too young a couple of months ago to driving too fast on residential roads. Left behind a wife and two young kids. Very sobering.
