Well midterms are upon us in medical school, so to take the stress off, my mind has been wandering about what my porsche future holds for me...
So let me know what your think...maybe post your projects or have suggestions on mine! acquire a nice rust free pre 1973 shell put on flares SC or turbos RS bumpers F and R get a 3.6L engine G50 tranny I am guessing I will need the shortened bell housing? How much HP and Torque can a 915 take? build it from the ground up upgrade brakes to S4, 930 Nice 8 and 9" Fuchs black centers polished lips thinking a dark grey exterior with burgandy int RS door panels Fiberglass hood Are Lexan windows worth the $$? What about a coilover conversion?? Will it make that much of a difference?? Probably will have to put in a wing of some sort...so the 3.6 can get enough air?? I remember Jack O saying somethin about that Maybe carbuerators since no smog Race headers Dual out exhaust more agressive cams 930S steering wheel Then after some years of AWESOME driving Rebuild it as a 3.8 RSR (pistons cylinders heads...don't think you need to change out the crankshaft) awwww...it is nice to dream |

OK, I will play this game....
This, just in Black. ![]() I don't need the 469 hp or the lightweight body parts. I would be happy with 300 HP and my standard SC parts. I like the shaved rain gutters though. It wouldn't be that hard to do, All I need for most of it is a totaled 86-88 930 with intact running gear and brakes. You see those all the time, right? Tom ------------------ 82 911SC Coupe |

when are you going to carb it and bump it up to 3.8???
Then go to coilovers and a G50...then you will have the ride of all time... in bruce's book, jerry woods added carbs, cams, and exhaust and the car was pushing 319! on a 964...What is your car pushing? I have followed your car...but it really wan't in my mind till I was almost done writing my list...that is strange... Do you go to the PCA meetings at the Grill on PCH??? I'd love to shoot the ***** with you and hear about the difficulties switching over...I want to sell the SC and get myself a nice Geo Metro so I can use the rest of the money on the project car...I am gonna do most of the work...so I am hoping to save some money...the 3.8 in an earlier car would be SICK...I just purchased a load of FACOM tools so I need to put them to good use... |
