Door threshold rivets for '69-73?

I need to r & r my door thresholds to do a decent repaint & would like to use original-style white plastic rivets. I think they're NLA, but can't find any aftermarket source.

Anyone?

do a search for "plastic rivets" on the 914 board. they used white and black plastic rivets on the early 914's thresholds too. there should be a link there for a company that makes the plastic rivets.

The OEM plastic rivets for the threshold were available 2 years ago through the Porsche Parts system; we ordered them for my son's '73. The part number is 999.591.550.40. I seem to recall they weren't too expensive. Perhaps Pelican can order them for you. Cheers, Jim
