911 cab top replacement. Any tech info?
Anyone here replaced their 911 cabriolet convertible top and posted a tech article or step by step info? Thanks

What is it you want to replace, the entire top or the canvas? There are articles about both in the factory manual and a pretty good thread on replacing the canvas on this forum.

Think long and hard about doing this job yourself. Its not an easy job, also theres usually swearing and blood involved. Especially with the german canvas its very hard to stretch etc, just giving a headsup because I went down that route. then again with all the help on this board anythings possible

You could also see if you can buy a decent complete top. I just saw three on the web site of one breaker in CA. If they are good you've effectively reduced your risk, gotten a lot of spares that will be ever harder to come by & taken the total time to install to less than an afternoon
