Olivier,

There are two WBO2 sensors that I know of (L1H1 by NTK and the LSU4 from BOSCH). Both require a controller. You can't just screw them in and expect an output voltage. These babies have special circuitry to maintain a steady temperature on the sensor and special current pumps used to read the AFR.

I found that the voltage problem from my sensor is related to the new gauge. It was too coincidental to lose the sensor at the same time I installed the gauge.

With the gauge plugged in, I get almost no voltage from the O2 sensor, plugged in or not. Once I unplug the gauge, the sensor voltage is normal and I can use it to set my mixture at idle.

The gauge instructions said it would not "load or disrupt the sensor signal", so I need to figure out what is going on. Since I normally run without the O2 sensor plugged in after setting the mixture, it is not that big a deal, but I am curious about what is going on and I would like to have the option of having both a gauge and a closed loop system if I feel the need in the future.

Breaking News

Overpaid Slacker/ JP has an EGT itch he's not sure how to scratch.
The issue is Could He Use a TIT, in addition to a single tube or double tube EGT, to help setting his fuel and ignition map ?

My little JPI EDM-700 has a bunch of options that I'm not using. One of them is a TIT option. I'm not using a turbo. So I'm doing a copy and paste from my manual.

We need some action on this issue.. anybody.

this is JP's new thread
How important is Turbo Inlet Temperature in Tuning a 930?

TIT means Turbine Inlet Temp

and here is a routine airplane engine situation.
