Costco has a sale on MaxJax2 for $1799 delivered. it's on sale till 12/20. Is this the best price for MaxJax2?

I think so, I was looking as well and someone recommended the same.

Priced elsewhere from $1999 - $2499 that I have seen.

Awesome! Nice little garage setup you have there.

Clean, neat, organized and functional.

The concrete needs to be 4" thick minimum and in good condition to support the vertical load downward according to the installation instructions. However, the lift comes with wedge anchors that needs 6" of concrete to bite to resist pull out. I talked to tech support and they gave me a plan to use them so I tried one. I wasn't happy with it and decided to use Hilti epoxy insert anchors - cost some money but then again I'm underneath it.

Lake Guy, how far apart do you have your posts, outside to outside? I just ordered mine, delivered to the door for $1916.00.

You have to play with this a bit. I'll go measure. I know that I wanted to be able to lift larger vehicles so I went as wide as I could and still reach fully under the 911. Front points lift off the subfloor in line with wheel openings. You have to watch out for oil lines. The rear points lift off custom brackets on the suspension.

So the base plates on the MaxJax are 121 inches outside to outside. That gives me enough room to fully reach underneath at the front and still pick up the rear suspension at the back. But, I do need to be careful about where to position it when I park or it won't fit. I had my machine shop make two custom yolks to pick up on the suspension for the back. I didn't want to lift off of the floor pan in this location.

I couldn't' find the thing on eBay or Amazon and the company site directs you to "ask for a quote". So we are relying on our fellow Pelicans!

I would also like to know of a retailer in Canada who would sell these.

Just buy a scissor lift. Cheaper, and does not take up space at all like the Maxjax (sides- other cars in your garage). Just make some wood ramps, and you can park on it. No need for concrete anchors or worries. Or buy the new light Race Ramps...ramp for scissor lifts and ditch the 2x4's.

Gents the price was $895.00. I know I know...not cheap. It's made in the USA. It's industrial...not really meant for the commercial consumer. I cringed at the price too, but honestly...it's worth every penny. I just installed a scavenge pump on my car. It was so comfortable doing the job. The great thing, I can take a nap under the car without my wife knowing I'm doing so...total peace and quiet....lol.
