Turn indicators not working
I'm troubleshooting the turn indicators not flashing on my '78 SC targa. The lights come on, the relay was replaced and the emergency flashers work. Any ideas on what's the problem? Thanks Stephen

not sure what you mean by "the lights come on". do they come on when you turn the turn signal on or do they come on when you turn the lights on.
check the wiring at the EM flasher sw. (49a?) i dont know if the wire from the flasher is crimped to to the wire that goes to the turn sig sw or if there are 2 terminals. check the connector for the turn sig sw. check turn sig sw.

The turn indicators come on when you turn on the turn signals, but do not flash. The emergency flashers work and the turn signal flasher relay has been replaced. I double checked to make sure the correct bulbs were present. Is there anything other than replacing the turn signal switch?

When you put on the directional in left or right position do the corresponding outside directional lights flash on / off normally? With the emergency flasher on do all four outside directional lights flash normally?
There are multiple posts on the issue of the tachometer directional indicator lights glowing brightly and/or dimly and not flashing.
