Rear Wheel Rubbing Shock?

I've got an '88 with Elephant Racing suspension and I've noticed the rear wheels are slightly rubbing the shocks. This would have happened during Driver Events at High Plains Raceway. I marked the rubbing on the left side and it didn't seem to touch after I ran Pikes Peak International Raceway. Do my wheel bearings need to be tightened up a touch? Improperly torqued shock mounts?

BTW, I'm running 225 50 R16s in the rear.

I'm dropping the engine to do the clutch and want to sort this as well.

Regards,
Lawrence

Assuming you have stock 8x16ET10.6 Fuchs it's probably not the tire unless there is something very very wrong

that tire on the Fuch 8 has over 1 3/4" clearance from anything on the inside

Thanks - good suggestion on the alignment. I had everything dialed in by a Porsche specialist with I fitted the Elephant components and they didn't note anything wrong. It's all very straight and has done a great job of running with the big kids at a couple driver events.

I'm getting ready to drop the engine for some maintenance. After I give the shocks a good tightening, I can take it back in for an alignment and see what the pros say.

Thanks
Lawrence
