Cup Holder

This is the best solution I have found for my 87 Carrera so far. It's very handy and the cup is right where your hand naturally falls. Also, I can still reach the handbrake and the heater.

What do you think?

Cheers,

Joe

Great if it works for you.
I enjoy the experience of driving my Porsches too much to have a need for a sound system or cup holder.

It keeps me from getting scalded when I put it between my legs and the top pops off. I'll never do that again!

Might call it a safety feature.

Tried that area with my Starbucks and always managed to get hot coffee on my lap whenever I shut the door.

When did they start putting armrests in the 911? My 84 does not have one.
Thanks,
Dave

I bought a roll of black duct tape and keep it on the passenger floormat. The side stick keeps it from sticking and it can hold a Starbucks Venti size (24oz) tumbler through very spirited on/off ramp driving. The first one lasted about 18 months before I retired to regular tape use in the garage and replaced with a new roll.

They didn't, but Amazon has them and Pelican has cup holders except the one I have.
