FAST Induction Technology

Moving from CIS to EFI (looking at Bitz Racing kit) when a friend confuses me with the FuelAirSpark Technology (FAST).
I see nothing in the search archives. Anyone have experience or opinion / guidance ?

I think they are more for the muscle car crowd, not sure they have any setups for the flat 6.

Maybe their software/ECU can be used?

They have been around for a while and there have been a number of folks that have used them on Porsches.. I believe I recall Peter Dawe telling me that he had tuned a few for owners.

Call Andy @ Hilborn injection about it.

If it was your project car - in moving from CIS to EFI, would you go with the Bitz Racing/ Megasquirt path or look seriously into a Holley EFI from Hilborn ?
In the end, this will be a turbo'd 1980 3.0 (3.2)

AEM Infinity... Look up their engine protection strategy's. Do a search in the forum. There is a guy offering a turn key solution for 911's.

Total waste of money.

Unless you are sponsored as a racecar, MoTec makes no sense to the average consumer.

Completely disagree with that statement....the Motec M84 is available for about $1800. Not at all unreasonable for what you get.

I thought those ran 4-5k.

Yeah, not too bad. Still high, but deal breaking.

Here it is, I'm looking at going with Rasant's setup when I make the move to EFI. I like the plug and play aspect, and that everything is included. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/886014-911-engine-management-kit.html

Find someone who can tune using what you are going to buy. Hopefully near you. I used electromotive and had a problem finding good tuner
