SCEET Aircraft duct

I'm buying all the components to finish my heat backdate project. Can somebody provide some insight of how much hose I actually need per side for the 3.0?

I plan on using the 2.5 inch ducting from:
SCEET AIRCRAFT DUCTING - CUT TO LENGTH from Aircraft Spruce

10' length will get you there with a little left over.

Be sure it doesn't have a red rubber liner or you'll smell it when it gets hot.

Really? It doesn't seem to be more than 6 feet.

It's really hard to search Pelican, far easier to just use Google. "lenght of sceet backdate" gets you this.

how much ducting for a 3.2 heat backdate?

Your heater boxes will require about 3.5- 4 feet alone.

From my thread:
- heat backdate: Will include engine tin cut, repaint. Search : Tips & adivce needed for backdating heat. Ordered 72 inches of SCEET. (Job should require 60 inches - 24 + 18 + 9 + 9)

This should give enough to allow rolling of the ends for better fit.

Thanks for the credit and compliment, I remember measuring them for you a year or two ago.

Here is a good view of the path and the hoses length. IIRC the best deal from Spruce was the 10' length so you can sell the other 5'

JJ - the carbs look great. Did they go on recently? I remember you mentioning them the last we spoke.

John W... I think I overlooked those because I read on pelican that they were a bit more fragile. Sounds like you have no issue with them? I might try those if I need to get new hoses for new headers... I want a black and silver look for my engine if possible.

Time fly when we are having fun... It will be 3 years this spring.

For the look, I went from the normal Rain Shield set-up to the Flat Top to Individual Flat Filter to Half Tea Ball Filter version.

The versions pictures below "required the Can Catch" set-up.

Race Top

Flat Top Filter on Flute

Half Tea Ball Filter on Flute
