Just back from an early Sunday AM drive. Bright sunshine, frost on the grass, and temps hovering around 40 degrees. That cold condensed air feels like a 20HP boost!!

Yep...my motorbikes like that cold air too.
(It's just their rider that does not!!) Denser, cold air = more oxygen to help burn the fuel. ------------------ '81 SC Coupe (aka: "Blue Bomber") Canada West Region PCA The Blue Bomber's Website "If it ain't broke...we'll help you fix it 'til it is!" Cool air and 94 octane wakes my turbos right up. Don't notice much difference in the n.a. DME though.

The lady and I jumped in the car and took a drive down to the beach this morning, around 25 minute drive 1 way through ome twisties. It was nice and cool, very beautiful. The gauge never did hit operating temp (180) so kept the revs around 4K most of the way. It was still fun!
Now we're going to church to pray for everyone and that loss of life will be minimal. ------------------ Carlo http://bigblue111c.tripod.com/dec2000/ |
