new 15" tire option for RSR fitments
For my RSR kin, I'm pleased to share another tire option.
I've run both Michelin TB5 and TB15 on my 15" x 9" and 15" x 11" wheels. Now Pirelli is now making an appropriately sized P7 Corsa Classic: P7 CORSA CLASSIC | Pirelli I'm running the 235/45-15 and 305/40-15 sizes. So far I've had one day of spirited driving with them and they are great! ![]() ![]() ![]()

Frisby Tire in Vegas has them now.
Frisby Performance Tire & Sierra Tire Pirelli says that dealers in Los Angeles will start carrying them in 2016. |

These have been talked about for years now, not sure about availability though. The tide may be turning for those that clung to their 15 and 16 inch rims.

Fronts retail for $434.00 and rears retail for $500.00 but you can ask for a discount.

I'll keep you posted!
I was able to get about 8000 miles or 18 months out of the Michelins. |

I hope these start a trend, without the bead protectors and stupid graphics which seem to be embossed on all modern tires.

Do you prefer the corsa's over the tb's ? I hear the tb's grip aren't great unless you get temp in them first?
15s just look soooo right on long nose and 3.0rs cars. |

So far yes, I do prefer them. They have a lot more grip. Now let's see how long they last

Thanks for the tip. I have 15x11.5 rear BBS's and 15x9 front BBS's that I'm going to use on my RSR.

I was thinking about e50 bbs in those sizes too. I like me since they are so lite and period correct. Do they clear the 930 brakes? My buddy says he had to dismantle the 15's to get tires on and off which seems like a major pita?

Yes, the 305s are better for my set up. I'm a bit under 300hp.
The 285s would break away often, especially as they aged. |
