Swapping 150mph speedo for a 85 mph sppedo

When I bought my car the PO had replaced the USA 85mph speedo with a 150mph unit. Well I need to send out the 150 unit to get my odo fixed. When I put in the 85 mph unit in is it a straight swap, or do I need do do something to have it read properly? Also, does it matter in which holes I put which light bulbs in?
Thanks

It is a straight swap, as long as you don't miss-connect the wires. Hardest part is getting speedo out/in.

Thanks, I've had the speedo out once before to reset oxygen sensor light.
